US funding to enhance W.Va. state police forensics

colored vertical helixCHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — Nearly $342,000 in federal funding is headed to the West Virginia State Police to improve the state forensic laboratory.
The funding announced by U.S. Rep. Nick Rahall will be used to update and purchase new technology, hire evidence technicians, and to continue the education and training of forensic analysts.
