Remains ID’d as those of UVa grad student who went missing in 1986

DNA imageThe remains of a University of Virginia graduate student who went missing in 1986 finally have been positively identified.
The body of Patrick D. Collins, who was 27 at the time he disappeared in March 1986, was found several years after he disappeared and was classified as an anonymous cold case in New York state, said UVa police spokeswoman Lt. Melissa Fielding.
