Police Take Suspect into Custody in Connection to Twenty-One Year Old Cold Case

dna_justiceARLINGTON, Va. – The Arlington County Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division has closed a twenty-one year old unsolved case after getting a hit on DNA evidence. Warrants were obtained and executed on September 5, 2013 against Stevie Brinson, 50, of Alexandria, VA, in connection to a 1992 rape at gunpoint of a 25 year old college student in the 2000 block of N. Adams Street.
