Experts worked for months to link missing woman to remains uncovered in Perry County

human idThe hopes of a Mississippi family hung from one of the tiniest molecules in the human body this week, as DNA researchers in Texas worked to match a missing woman to skeletal remains found in Perry County.
After sitting in the National Missing and Unidentified Persons system for nearly three years, researchers with the University of North Texas Center for Human Identification were finally given the tip they needed to link the remains, uncovered near the Newport exit of Routes 22/322 in September 2010, to 38-year-old Teresa Ware.
