CHARLES CITY, VA (WWBT) – Bennett Barbour plans to cast his vote for the first time after being wrongfully convicted for a rape in the 70s. Barbour was recently cleared of the crime, thanks to DNA evidence.

It was a hot summer afternoon when Denise Porch, resident manager of a southwest Charlotte apartment complex, left a note on her front door.
