They knew he was the former caretaker of the victim’s apartment building, but he told them he never lived there, never met the woman, never went into her basement apartment.

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory has made available for licensing a DNA extraction and isolation method that its inventors claim is more efficient, sensitive, and selective than current commercial DNA extraction kits.

Czech police to shred part of DNA database

Prague, Sept 12 (CTK) – The Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (UOOU) has ordered the shredding of some data from the National Crime database of DNA Profiles whose storage does not reflect the gravity of a crime, UOOZ head Igor Nemec said Wednesday.
