Allende’s body taken from Chile tomb for autopsy

SANTIAGO, Chile — The remains of deposed Chilean President Salvador Allende were removed from his tomb Monday for an autopsy to determine whether he committed suicide or was assassinated during the 1973 military coup that ousted the leftist leader.
