Mount Clemens — An attorney for one of the defendants in the abduction and murder of a Chesterfield Township man said today he will seek to exclude newly found DNA evidence that linked a bullet fragment to the victim.
Joe Kosmala, who represents defendant Ihab Maslamani, said he will seek a delay in his client’s trial, set to begin next week.
Circuit Judge Diane Druzinski set a motion hearing in the case against Maslamani, 18, of Flint, for 11 a.m. Tuesday. His trial is scheduled to begin Wednesday.
