Prosecution rests, defense begins in ’91 murder trial

HONESDALE – Jurors on Friday were taken to see the place where Laura Lynne Ronning’s body was found nearly 20 years ago, while the prosecution rested its case against the man accused of killing her.
The fifth day of testimony in Jeffrey James Plishka’s capital murder trial also saw the defendant’s side calling its first witnesses before proceedings wrapped up for the weekend.
